About this product
Product Information
A dragon is ravaging Ankh-Morpork, the city Rincewind the wizard lives in. The Arch Chancellor sends him to slay the beast and you must help him! So you wake up and take your luggage with you (which thinks it's a dog) and search for anything you can use to kill that dragon. Talk to the people of the Discworld (a flat world on which Ankh Morpork lies), though most are useless because they're all mad. And that's exactly the funny part of the game, conversations which lead to nowhere and objects you find on your quest must often be used on such strange things that it's not even logical anymore. This game is meant for gamers who love English humour and like playing an adventure.
This game takes you into "Discworld" wich is located on the back of a giant turtle "swimming" around in space.
In the city of Anch-Morpork a dragon is set loose by evil people, and it is up to the wizard RINCEWIND (probably the worst wizard ever), and a student of the Unseen university, to stop it.
Rincewind gets into all sorts of trouble, while collecting treasure (to please the dragon), and trying to solve the mystery of who unleashed the dragon upon the city.
This is a WONDERFUL game, that will provide you with MANY fun hours of play.
The games are HARD to find in good condition, but if you stumble across a nice copy, it will be worth anywhere from £25 (for an ok copy), to £60 (for a "brand new" game)
If you are a fan of the Discworld books, you will love this game. It borrows elements from several of the Discworld books to make a challenging and amusing game. The point and click interface is a little clunky on a Playstation controller, but the humor more than makes up for it. Plus, Eric Idle is the perfect voice for Rincewind, that ultimate failure of a wizard.
