Fairly average for the age of the game. Several glitches Especially telling your men to hold position, and they ignore you and get in your way so you cannot move, or suddenly appear and get you shot, or you shoot them. Not near as good as farcry but fun to replay using only certain weapons, and different tactics. Loading is easy, and un-incumbered so you don't need a web site to rely on. Miles T.
One of the first PC online multiplayer FPS I played back in middle school/ high school. With a top notch graphics card this game actually looks very detailed and stunning for a shooter. The environment is very immersive. The characters dialogue is actually pretty entertaining and thought out. Funny and witty at times. Being able to have control of a squad of specialists is really engaging. Medic, engineer for demolition, vietnamese point man, heavy gunner, radio man, although sometimes a little glitchy. If you can get past the little things the things this game gets right outshines everything else. Get a good set of headphones and the sound will impress you. Feel aa if you are there in the jungle hiding with the bugs praying not to be seen first by some communists. The music for this game is very good also. All good classic rock tunes from the time period playing during cool cut scenes and while hanging in your bunker planning for the next mission. If you like simple straightforward FPS gameplay and are sick if all the COD releases... I suggest you check this classic out!Read full review

Graphics are pretty standard for a 2003 game, and not bad at all. As far as a FPS war game goes, this is my favorite. It was a little buggie at times (had difficulty getting squad mates to follow, or would sometimes get stuck in a trench) but the gameplay was very enjoyable. Lively in-game characters added to the enjoyment, as did yells from the enemy in Vietnamese wishing your death.
Very good game but it the main campign was a little too hard. I liked the price for this game. The campaign mode has very execellent levels.
