    Great buy

    Bought this tablet for my daughter as a birthday present. After so much research, I decided to buy this for the value. Amazon is a trusted brand so we decided to give it a try. I love the complementary FreeTime Unlimited subscription for a year with the purchase. There is such a wide variety of apps and safe videos to choose from. I also like the amazon underground FREE apps as an alternative to the freetime unlimited subscription. I LOVE the 2-year warranty because we all know kids break stuff. I like that this tablet will grow with her with the different user interfaces from the kids freetime, to the teenager profile settings to the full blown adult tablet. The only thing is I would suggest Amazon opens their platform to the Google play store because there are just a few apps that are not in their market. Still that definitely was not a deal breaker for us. Excellent value. One of the best tablets for kids on the market. The best value for the price.

    Worked longer than most kids electronics that are for the little rough-kins and those with special needs

    After having out travel trailer stolen along with it content we bought the new Amazon Fire 10 but the app left some added site's picture/window blank and Amazon said they are working on it for months but as of late it still is not fixed So it was great to get this nibble Amazon Fire 7 that is a great travel size and the battery, even for its age, it hangs in there for our needs. The stolen Fire was a 7in 4th Generation purchased new and this one was purchased used and thus far appears to be just as rugged and came with the protective free time rubber cover. Amazon has not found it a priority to fix the problem on the new Fire (business driver ) . 4 stars because the tablet has worked longer than most kids electronics that are for the little rough-kins and those with special needs and the battery is okay for short uses ... we just use a battery pack

    Christmas Gift

    I purchased this for my granddaughter for Christmas, so I can't comment on battery life. The tablet looks nice and the screen is clear. The only thing that bothered me at all is that it was advertised as a 7" and when it arrived it was actually a 6". I wish it had actually been a 7", but it was till a good value.

    Great for kids

    We have gone through a few tablets for our 4 yr old and this is by far the best one yet. Easy to navigate and perfect for parents that limit content and time that children can play. Integrates with our current Amazon prime account so no additional purchases are necessary. Highly recommend this for youngsters age 4-7.

    What No Play Store?

    The Kindle was everything it was advertised to be with one exception, it did not tell the buyer that you could not use play store. The limitation of just the amazon games was something I had not expected to encounter.
