    Perfect

    This might as well have been new off the shelf. It seems in perfect condition to me with great battery life and no scratches anywhere. I'm thinking maybe it is a "2nd" as the input for the charger is at a slight angle that causes the plug to bump the leather case a little. Zero issue there. It also came completely ready to register. Love it and couldn't have asked for better especially for the amazing price. it is a "Special Offer" model meaning that the first screen is one advertising something. Also zero issue. Just swipe on by it. Every tablet has an opening screen of some sort. This one just happens to be an advertisement. One or two of the ads - generally for electronic related stuff like games or accessories - have even been of interest to me. The words "Must See" roped me in, and I wasn't disappointed.

    Great Value for the Price

    It was just what I needed for what I wanted it for. The only thing that is disappointing is I was hoping it also had a camera to take pictures with it. I am planning to use it as well to order my books and read them on it because the nook I bought does not have a light up screen so it makes it very hard to read in a not very well lit area. The scratches that are on it are hardly even noticeable especially when it is on. Great product!

    wonderful invention

    I am a book reader and this device was reluctantly 'tried'. Well, sure glad I did. It will never replace a book but it lets me devour reads that are not shelf worthy. I guess the best thing about it is the compact size, I can bring along a pile of reads in a tiny little package. My plan is, if I find a good read I can buy a paper version for the shelf. * can't comment on the battery life as yet.

    Nice Product but

    I was shocked to see it arrive on the day it said it would. It looked pretty new to me. It worked great when i first got it. Now I am just having some little problems... such as it shuts off once in a while when you are using it for no reason. It also doesn't have a long battery life, like it said. Other wise I am pleased. Thank you

    Lightweight and beautiful color!

    I love ALL my Kindle Fires. I have three different Fires and all of them are awesome. This new one might be my favorite! It's very easy to use. The battery life isn't quite as long as the others but that's okay. I just plug it in when I come downstairs and it's good to go in about 30-60 minutes.

    Excellent Kindle Fire!

    This arrived days before it was scheduled to and is brand new. I lost my old 2nd gen Fire and the newer ones don't hold a candle to this one. The screen is perfectly clear, the sound is superior, and the 7" screen is larger than the same 7" screen on the 7th gen.

    Works well,but no microSD port.

    Bought this model so I could use micro-HDMI port to mirror display to "big screen" to instruct Sunday School students on Kindle Fire use. It's not ideal due to lack of microSD port and operating system differences, but it serves my purpose .
