Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring

Excellent product

Of the last 10 sets I've bought for the myriad of cars I work on, at least half have been Coopers. I even had CS-5 Ultras on my Boxster that got driven year-round. Still using several sets of Coopers. For this last buy, I paid a little more than my other go-to tire, the Nokian eNTYRE. This was for long-haul highway driving a Benz, so I wanted a quality tire that was was consistent with the car's characteristics. Many competing tires are too harsh. The CS-5 Ultra is perfect for luxury performance or "touring" vehicles, and for less-premium vehicles because it will reduce the harshness of them and improving the handling at the same time. WAY better than any OE tire, so if that's your goal, better/cheaper than OE the Coopers are a big win.

Good quality tire for the money

Reviews on this tire are generally very good and apparently Cooper has done some extensive testing to verify that a new blend of chemicals in the tire give it extreme quality. I will not really know until I've driven on them for many miles.
