Your name, phone number, email and delivery address will be shared with Handy to fulfill the service. You will receive an email from Handy that will provide you with a link to schedule your appointment with a professional. There will also be a phone number provided, in case you prefer to call to schedule your appointment. Prior to purchase, please read Handy’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

I just purchased a Handy service on eBay. How do I book?
After you purchase the service through eBay.com, Handy will send you a confirmation email with a link and phone number to schedule your booking. When scheduling your project, please be sure to allow enough time to receive the product you purchased.
You will receive the contact information for your professional two days before your booking so that you can talk with them about the job if you would like to.
How do I reschedule or cancel?
You can schedule, reschedule and manage all of your booking details through the Handy app. You can also manage your account on Handy.com.
To reschedule on the web:
- Go to the bookings page on your account.
- Click the edit booking drop down.
- Select 'Reschedule Booking'
- Choose the date and time you’d like to move the booking to.
- Click the ‘Reschedule’ button.
To reschedule in the Handy app:
- Tap the bookings icon on the bottom left of your screen.
- Tap into the booking you want to cancel.
- Scroll down to the reschedule booking button and tap.
- Select the date and time you’d like to move the booking to.
- Tap ‘Confirm Reschedule’ button.
Once you reschedule, you'll receive an email confirming the new date and time.
If it’s your first time logging in, all you’ll need to do is follow the password creation link and use the email address from your eBay order.

Do I have to be home for my scheduled appointment?
You are not required to be home, but we highly recommend you are present when a pro arrives and does the job. This allows for better communication between you and the pro about the assembly or installation.
Will I need tools, or will my pro bring them?
Your professional will come with all required tools. No need for you to lift a finger, whether it’s furniture assembly, TV mounting, or installing plumbing or electrical products.
The product the Handy pro is installing or assembling must come with all parts necessary to assemble or install. For example, you should make sure to purchase the appropriate TV mount prior to a TV mounting service.
Will my professional remove old furniture?
Our furniture assembly service does not include haul or removal of old furniture.

- The service was completed within the past 72 hours. For recurring services, each appointment is treated as a separate occurrence.
- Your account is in good standing without unpaid balances
*In the event of damage or a missing item, Handy will require documentation to prove value, ownership and damage in order to process the claim
When should I expect my professional to get in touch with me?
2 days before your appointment, we will provide your pro with your contact information. The pro will reach out to you via phone, email, or text before your appointment for any final details.
You don’t need to contact your pro. However, you can get in touch with them by logging into Handy.com or the Handy Apple iOS or Android app to see the pro’s contact information.
Does this assembly/ installation service include delivery, an item, or, when necessary, a mount?
This is not a delivery service. It is only an installation or assembly service. The Handy professional will bring all necessary tools to assemble, install, or mount the item. Actual items and hardware are sold separately. Customers will be required to have the items and all necessary mounts and hardware.
Does the Handy service include moving of items around my house?
Pros will not move most items, especially large, bulky items. Those items must be in the room or location you want the installation to be in.
What wall surfaces can my professional hang items like TVs, posters, frames, or mirrors on?
Items can be installed on brick, concrete, drywall, or wood.
Will my item be assembled at the time it's delivered?
You will receive an email confirmation for the purchase of your Handy assembly or installation service once you complete your checkout on eBay. To schedule an appointment for your service, simply click on the button that says “Schedule Now.” You can book any day that is convenient for you between 7am-11pm. When scheduling your project, please be sure to allow enough time to receive the product you purchased.
