What coverage does Red Pocket use?

Red Pocket offers service on every major wireless network in the USA. Network selection should be based upon your coverage preference and the phone model that you plan to use. Check coverage and device compatibility at MyEasyActivation.com.

What you need to bring

An AT&T-compatible, T-Mobile compatible, unlocked GSM, Sprint-compatible, Verizon LTE-compatible or other unlocked LTE CDMA Device to use with our service. Our service will work with nearly any unlocked, GSM or CDMA device as long as your wireless contract has ended and your account is in good standing with your previous carrier (e.g., current on payments, etc.).

How to activate your Red Pocket plan

Please be sure to use a Red Pocket SIM card that you receive in your Starter Kit, rather than a SIM that you may have obtained elsewhere, in order to avoid any activation issues. There are a couple of cases where you do not need to use a Starter Kit SIM card:
  1. If you are using a Sprint-compatible LTE phone, you can use your existing SIM card for activation.
  2. If you are using a CDMA 3G or feature phone that does not use a SIM card, you can activate using just the device MEID.

After you receive your Starter Kit by mail and your activation code by email, please activate your phone at MyEasyActivation.com.
  • Step 1: Select what type of phone model you have, GSM or CDMA. (Tip: If your phone is AT&T- or T-Mobile compatible, it is GSM. If your phone is Sprint- or Verizon-compatible, it is CDMA.)
  • Step 2: Enter the activation code sent to you via email from eBay@GoRedPocket.com
  • Step 3: Select “Yes” if you will be bringing an existing phone number to use with your Red Pocket plan or select “No” to get a new phone number
  • Step 4: Fill in your personal account information
  • Step 5: Review and agree to the Red Pocket terms and conditions and submit.

Programming your phone

Once the online activation process is completed, follow the below steps for your phone model to complete programming of your phone. These instructions will also be emailed to you after you have completed online activation.

AT&T Compatible or Unlocked GSM Device for Red Pocket GSMA Service

  1. Using Wi-Fi, open your phone’s browser and go to RedPocket.com/Configure
  2. Choose your phone platform (iOS, Android, or Other)
  3. Enter your Red Pocket phone number and select “Send SMS”
  4. You will receive a text messaged link from short code 3888 to complete configuration

T-Mobile Compatible or Unlocked GSM Device for Red Pocket GSMT Service

  1. Make sure your phone is powered off
  2. Insert your SIM card
  3. Turn your phone on and it will automatically configure.

Sprint Compatible Device for Red Pocket CDMA Service

  1. Make sure your phone is turned off during the online activation process
  2. Complete the online activation process
  3. Turn your phone on and it will walk you through Over The Air Activation (OTA).

CDMA Device for Red Pocket CDMA Service

3G Phone:
  1. After activation, dial *228 + send and your phone will configure automatically.

LTE-capable phone:
  1. Do not dial *228.
  2. Make sure your phone is powered off.
  3. Insert your CDMA SIM card into your phone
  4. Turn your phone on and it will then automatically configure.

For 3G and LTE phone types, after programming completes, place an initial call. You will be prompted to select your IVR default language. Your call will be connected.

Porting

Want to bring your pre-existing number over to Red Pocket? Not a problem!

You can bring your number over to Red Pocket from all the US carriers and mobile operators. Mobile operators include, but are not limited to Boost Mobile, Page Plus, Virgin Mobile, and more.

It is important to be 100% accurate with your porting information, including the account number (which is usually not your phone number) and account password, both of which may be obtained from your old service provider. If incorrect information is submitted, it can provide serious delay to the transfer. In some cases, delays may also be from your previous wireless service provider as they can be slow in releasing your number.

Please note: Order processing and shipments take place Monday through Friday and are not processed during weekends.

Cancellations/Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your purchase of this prepaid service. If you are not satisfied with your service and it is within 30 days of receiving your starter kit, and if you have consumed fewer than 30 minutes, 30 texts, or 30MB of data, we will refund your purchase in full.

If you do not contact us to cancel the plan within this 30 day period, or if you consume more than 30 minutes, 30 texts or 30MB of data, your purchase will be considered buyer's remorse and you will no longer qualify for a refund.

Terms and Conditions

By purchasing this item and following activation, you will receive wireless service from Red Pocket Mobile.

In this offering, you will receive 3 SIM cards and an instructional flyer. Plans can be activated once on any of the 4 major wireless networks on which Red Pocket provides service as long as the device is compatible with that network.Red Pocket utilizes the best networks in America for talk, text and data service. Please review the coverage maps to ensure that you reside in an area where service is provided on your compatible device. You likely do, but you will want to verify.

Upon activation and every month thereafter, until the end of your service term, you will receive wireless service. You will not be able to exceed the allotted amount of voice, texts or data. If you exhaust your credits, you may purchase additional credits directly at myeasyrefill.com

UNLIMITED DOES NOT MEAN UNREASONABLE USE.

If Red Pocket finds that you are using an unlimited service offering for anything other than its intended purposes, Red Pocket may at its option terminate your service or change your plan to one with no unlimited usage components.

When you are running low on your credits, a notification message will be sent to you. You will also receive a notification that your service will expire on the last day of your service term. You will be notified to refill your account with additional service(s) should you exhaust any monthly allotment for data, or when your service term expires.

You must utilize a compatible device in order to use Red Pocket Mobile. Any device that is currently active under a contract, has been suspended for non-payment, or is reported lost or stolen may be ineligible for use with this service. Additional exclusions may apply.
