Are you a seller looking to offer combined shipping? Read our article on offering combined shipping
If you’ve already paid for a number of items you ordered from the same seller, and the packages haven’t been marked as shipped, the seller may still be able to combine shipping if you contact the seller.
Starting May 2025, some buyers will begin to see a Pay when option after they place a bid on items that are eligible for combined shipping. They can choose 1-hr autopay to have their payment process automatically 1 hour after winning an auction, or 7-day autopay to delay automatic payment processing payment up to 7 days, so they can combine more items and check out to get more savings.
Note: Buyers must check out manually before the 7-day period ends to get any shipping discounts the seller offers.
How to request combined shipping
Many sellers will proactively send invoices for items that are eligible to ship together.
When viewing items, some buyers will now see labels saying the seller offers combined shipping.
Seeing this label means you can shop more and save with shipping discounts on eligible items. Here’s how:
- Go to your cart and select Request combined shipping.
- Select all the eligible items you want shipped together. You can also leave a message for the seller.
- Once the seller combines your items, they'll send you an invoice and you'll see updated shipping costs in your cart.
- To benefit from any discounts offered by sellers, you'll need to go to checkout and complete the your purchase.
What's not eligible for combined shipping?
Not all items are eligible for combined shipping. Some examples include:
- Items in the PSA Vault Items in PUDO (pick up/ drop off) categories
- Items that require Authenticity Guarantee checks
- Items that sell for more than $250
- Items that are purchased with Best Offer
- Items in EMS and Export Categories
Even if an item is eligible for combined shipping, it is ultimately the seller's decision whether they will combine eligible items or offer any combined shipping discounts.
Tip
If the shipping section of the listing doesn’t specify shipping costs for additional items, you’ll need to ask the seller before you pay. If the seller agrees to ship the items in one package, they’ll send you a combined invoice detailing all the items and the new cost of shipping.
