This ultrasonic humidifer can produce 3 gallons of water vapor a day with three changes of the water container. I found that the vapor director tends to impeed the release of vapor so i removed it because it works much better without it. It is necessary to have a fan nearby or the area around the humidifier or the the surrounding area will get very wet. I found that a 150 cfm fan keep the surronding area completely dry.

Initially I connected the mist maker to a 12V battery. I was disappointed to see it give a very faint "water spring". Then again I rechecked the spec. for power supply and noted that it requires 24V to operate. So I connected two 12V batteries in series to get 24V. BOOM, I was surprised to see how beautiful it works. So "Use the proper voltage". Also in the process when I was figuring out why the device was not working on the 12V supply, I touched the centre part (the piezo), and felt a sting like "pain" on my finger. So I guess on 24V it may not be safe to touch the piezo disk.

This is a very powerful mist maker. I use it with a small fan, it makes a great humidifier.

The mist maker works really well! Btw 2A at 24V is not correct, i think the Power input is around 20 watts (i did not measure)

Fog production is small and really dependant upon temp and depth of sonic disk.
