      Super-Wide Zoom, Sharp in center.

      With a range from 11 to 24mm, this is one of the widest zooms for full frame. Very useful in some situations. Pretty sharp, particularly in the center and at higher F-stops, while the edges are a bit soft at low F-stops. Like other "L" lenses, it's well made. On the negative side, the lens is heavy and large. It's front element is bulbous and vulnerable. The image darkens considerably as you zoom in. Only opens to F4. It's expensive.

      Excellent ultra ultra wide angle zoom lens

      The Canon ef 11-24 mm zoom ultra wide angle zoom lens is an excellent choice for landscape and architectural photography. It is sharp edge to edge at all focal lengths even at maximum aperture. Built like a tank this lens is indeed hefty and pricy but it's performance will not disappoint.

      Absolutely love this lens!

      I was using the Canon 10-22mm zoom on a 7D and 60D. It was my most used lens for forced perspective and landscape photography. I actually own two of the 10-22mm lenses because they are not the most robust. All of my other lenses are Canon L Series lenses. I decided that the Canon 11-24mm L would definitely be a step up. I am contemplating finally upgrading to a full frame camera so this purchase just made sense. I love this lens and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It works wonderfully on the crop sensor cameras and I cannot wait to use it on a full frame camera. I'm sure it will be my most used lens and it will completely replace the 10-22mm zooms.       Canon EF 11-24mm f4 L lens

      The Canon Ef 11-24mm is not only an amazing landscape lens but super for sports photography to get great venue shots as well as post game celebrations. The lens is heavy but the photographs are flawless and no vignetting as I got with my Fisheye 8-15mm. I have yet to try the filter systems recommended for long exposure landscapes and seascapes but from I have seen I am looking forward to doing this as soon as the COVID-19 goes away
