      This is my second one. Liked the first one so much I gave it to my son in law. He was super thrilled and I got to buy a new one again. Everyone needs one of these little things. Can’t shave with it, chops wood great. If you want to shave go buy a razor. Use the right tool for the job. It’s not a racing axe. It’s a great small tool to carry on backpack trips or keep in your vehicle for emergencies. You don’t use a Corvette to pull a gooseneck trailer. The metal part cuts wood not the handle.

      5 STAR Single Bit Axe Made in the US of A!!!

      I really appreciate a fine tool, especially a cutting tool. US Steel is still the finest steel on the planet. You buy a tool like this never wanting to buy it again. Why would you buy an axe made in China, just to save a couple bucks. This is the real thing; a well made, well balanced axe in the great tradition of US made cutting tools. This came quite sharp and with a really nice leather sheath. I'm proud to own this axe and looking forward to many years of use and then someday handling it down to my son.

      Extremely well made and at a great price

      An axe is just one of those tools everybody should have. I was happy to hear that Snow and Nealley has started making axes here in my home state of Maine again. The axe has already exceeded my expectations. This is an axe that your kids will hand down to their own. Well done!!

      Small axe

      Just the right size to keep behind the seat of your truck to clear out any trees or such that may be blocking the road you need to get down. Being that it is not feasible to carry a chainsaw all the time. It is small but you can get yourself out of a sticky situation with it and a chain or rope.
