    Minor modifications

    Bought this for a 1984 Rancher 50, which has its own peculiar choking mechanism. To use this retrofit I removed the entire choke shaft from the new carburetor and replaced with a bolt to seal the openings the choke shaft left. Oh, and had to drill a hole in the throttle assembly to attached my throttle "cable". But my saw started on the 4th pull and only required adjustment of the idle screw. Chainsaw works "just like new".

    Make sure you adjust it for your saw...but works great

    Set up a bit lean for a 55 out of the box...but adjusting the low and high speed is literally all I had to do to it. Well worth the price to me

    Will Not fit Husqvarna 50 Rancher

    Would not fit on my 50 Rancher, bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt old carb. Did use hose and filter, spark plug that came with it.
