    built sturdy !!!

    I have been searching for the right "low profile" air cleaner for awhile .... I really like the way this one looks ,,the price was right... when i received it I was shocked about how hefty it is ..the fins on top are thick and sturdy .. There were two items that I needed to address... 1 was the filter itself ... I read from a previous posting that the buyer bought another smaller "length wise" filter in order for the three pieces to fit tighter together ... In my shop I cut about 3/4 of an inch out of the end of the filter... That worked perfectly as the filter laid exactly where it should with the slots of both pieces of the housing... The second was the "Allen key" bolt to screw into the carb, was way to short... I wound up using the threaded bolt from another air cleaner i had in my ...

    Pretty decent for a eBay air cleaner

    It’s nice but if you look closely it’s not all polish, in between the fins is the texture of if you were to sand blast something. Still super nice but going to be tricky to clean.

    Looks great! The bolt that came with it is to long to use. Had to get the butterfly nut with screw from auto parts store. Will eventually have one made similar to the original bolt.
