I used the same method I've used in the past with this same type of hose but had nothing but issues this time. Maybe a bad run of hose or something. Besides the nylon fraying the hose still locked into the fittings and works/seals. Fittings I got from this seller were just fine. Will buy from again if the opportunity is presented.
