Features
Empowered by Intel's innovative Intel's 3D NAND QLC technology; this SSD offers higher capacities at a lower cost than TLC-based storages. With PCIe; the new Intel SSD 660p skips SATA and its limitations. The future of storage is built on PCIe; NVMe and QLC technologies; so choose the Intel SSD 660p; ideal for Laptops and Desktops running everyday computing applications. Compared to TLC's capacity; Intel 3D NAND QLC technology stores more bits per cell; allowing for higher capacity; faster read performance and lower power consumption per drive. This technology makes the most of small spaces by expanding capacities up to 2TB of storage on small M.2 form factor.

Awesome replacement for Apple MacBook stock SSD

I purchased this as a replacement for my MacBook 128 GB SSD. I am so excited!!! It is twice faster. Has 8 times more capacity. It even seems to be colder then a native one. And for around $110 with adapter it feels like a great deal.

  • Great value under $115!

It's a wonderful drive if you get it for about $115 or less. There are some issues with the cache size but it should be fine if you stay under 800gb and you will only see slight decreases in performance if you go over that. If you fill it almost completely (Red zone on Windows) then you will experience more slowdowns but it should still perform much better than an HDD. It should also not be purchased for very heavy use case scenarios, like frequent 1tb write cycles. Basically, it's meant for average consumer use. I use it as a game library drive.

  • Love this drive

Hands down, this is the best value you'll find anywhere for NVMe. I've purchased two of these so far to upgrade different models of MacBook Pro, with a M.2 adapter from Sintech. Sure, it's not going to be as fast as, say, a Samsung EVO, but what you get in return is less heat and power consumption; ideal traits for a laptop. Oh, and a 5-year manufacturer warranty is awesome.

  • Easy installation, less heat and fast processing.

The SSD installed easily. If you are first cloning your existing SSD, be sure you have the right kind of drive enclosure for the replacement SSD. There are more than one variety. You need M.2 2280 NVMe. (NVMe is the critical difference, as there are other varieties of M.2 2280 enclosures). The Intel SSD generates some heat, as all of these SSDs do, but it was noticeably less than my previous SSD.

  • Use it in MacBook Pro 13" (Late 2013) with a Sintech M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card

Works well in MacBook Pro 13" (Late 2013) when used in conjunction with a Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card. Less expensive alternative to OWC SSDs for that Mac Model, but equivalent or better performance. Easy to install.
