    Very good quality for the price, New Condition, Good appearance. As with a design like this, it is susceptible to breakage due to sticking out from the computer. One has to be careful with placement and handling of this Wi-Fi accessory. I prefer using this design on any desktop computer that does not have built in Wi-Fi capabilities on the motherboard. It is far cheaper than an internal add-on card. Its performance is excellent and configuration is almost always plug-and-play.

    Item packaging not as pictured in listing, but received item itself substantially similar. To get it to work on my linux (Debian 12) system: "$ sudo apt install -t bookworm-backports linux-image-amd64 firmware-realtek" and then reboot. In my case, 2.4GHz signal strength using this adapter is 58% versus laptop built-in adapter at 93%. Not great, but at least it gives my laptop 5GHz capability when I travel.
