It's almost as if it's clamped down on the strap buttons, no fears of an accidental drop. I broke my collarbone decades ago, and it didn't heal right. The knot on the bone was always right under the strap, and hurt with all but my acoustic guitars. Now my Les Paul is fun again. And the price is far below what this strap is worth.
