I overfilled the oil reservoir and had trouble starting the engine. 15 min call and everything sorted out, works perfectly. Need to stay away from poison for rodent control due to proximity to food, this is the most reasonable option that leaves no trace.

Unfortunately, it's success at killing gophers is well below the standard pincher traps. I've gone so far as to quadruple the treatment time, and they're still back plugging the hole the following morning. Out of 20 gophers treated, some several times, I think less than 20% have shown no sign of life a couple days later.
