Since it goes to multiple mower models, maybe the length varies between the models? Whatever the reason, I was able to set the proper length. The hardest part of the swap was breaking free the upper nut on the original part, and it was easy after that. Immediately mowed the lawn and it worked perfectly. Hopefully it lasts at least as long as the original.
