    Much better than my Xkey 25

    I got an Xkey 25 when it first came out. I wanted polyphonic aftertouch and that was my sole reason for buying it. I use it very little and the main reason is the action...it's just completely dead. Well, I don't know if it's that CME has improved the action overall, but I can say that the 37 key version I just bought is vastly superior not only in features, but also in that most important area - playability. This action is so much improved...I actually enjoy playing it versus the 25. The polyphonic aftertouch really opens up softsynths that support it. This keyboard is absolutely incredible with Waldorf's Largo. Very happy with this purchase.

    The kind of clicky that feels good

    I bought this for the purpose of connecting it to my Korg Kronos and to have a portable keyboard that I can take with me everywhere I go. The portability is a huge plus. The keys and buttons feel like they can take a lot of abuse from bouncing around in your backpack, but be careful with it. Unlike the KMI instruments, if you run this over with a car, it'll probably break. It's very much like an apple product. Please be careful with removing the usb cord. Don't pull on the plug. Be smart and grab the head of the cord and then pull it out when disconnecting your Xkey from any cables. It comes with two cables. One for USB and the other splits into 3 ends, for expression, sustain and 5-pin MIDI. Be aware that if you plan on using the MIDI cable to connect to a master keyboard, you will still ...
