      this is my first safety razor, and so far it has delivered comfortable, nick free shaves.it takes care of two to three days beard easily with two passes, or baby smooth in three, depending on the blade used. seller wrote that its made in Germany, but there is no indication of such. it looks like the Merkur 34c, only that the merkur is a two piece razor. at under 15 us dollars this razor is a deal.
