    great beam sensor for a use with a variety of applications

    Beam sensor that has a transmitter and receiver on one end, and a reflector on the other. Excellent for use with different applications, runs off AC 120 (wall socket in USA) or a wide DC range. NOTE - THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE ALARM SYSTEM. This is stated in the description. If you are looking for a product that is ready to plug in (product doesn't come with a plug), this is not for you. If you have some experience with electronics then it will be great. Product is designed as a sensor to activate some other device of your choosing, so it's great for the DIYR. When the beam is broken, it triggers a relay that either opens or closes a circuit. For my application, I needed a way of knowing when someone enters our shop when I'm not on the floor.     very versatile unit

    I was pleasantly surprised with this eye. Using it at its max range across my garage for a security system powered by a 12 volt battery saved me from having to run a separate 110v power line to it. Indicator lights on the front help in lining up the eye. Unit works flawlessly.

    By Far best product for my use!

    Just a word to the manufacture, I wish the wires that are inside of the unit for wiring where at least a 14 or 16 gauge, they would be easier to work with.
