Unless you are just putting an occasional small item in the trunk, it really doesn't work very well. It does not stay in place and it doesn't really fold down flat. I put a kayak and gear in the van and every time I slide the kayak in, the mat moves with it. I am constantly adjusting. It is protecting the floor from dirt and water, it is just a huge hassle.
