    when you sell a product it would be nice to have instructions, A. cut OEM cobra head pipe in two, in a certain location 1. Loosen trans dipstick 2. trim or smash firewall seem on truck for clearance 3. Dimple new primary pipe to clear cast iron exhaust in back of engine for a flush connection to the turbo exhaust 4.sand pipe and remove sticker 5. hone out other pipe inside 6. use never seize when joining pipes.

    Good product, but not an easy install.

    This downpipe fit perfectly. But be prepared to spend some time for the removal of the old pipe and new pipe installation. I had to sawzall the top off the old pipe to remove it. Also be prepared to make some clearance modifications to the firewall. The firewall to floorpan seam has to be bent back under the floorpan. I used a 4" cutoff wheel on a hand grinder to make several notches in the seam, then I could easily bend the seam back. Plan on about 8 to 10 hours from opening the hood to closing the hood, if your doing it at home in the garage.

    Don’t purchase

    So the 7.3 needs a two piece down pipe to be able to put it in. Unfortunately this one is poorly manufactured. Without major modifications the two pieces don’t fit together
