The mode button cycles through the 12v norm 3.5A, 12v cold/AGM 3.5A, 12v norm 2A, and 12v cold/AGM 2A. There is no way to set it to 6v norm 3.5A. The manual indicates that it can charge 6v batteries, but unfortunately it does not.
