Where goes south for me is the opening is too thin to mount properly. I had to reinforce the whole sub mount hole which was pain in the butt and not worth it. I am not sure what sub you were mounting, but it sounds like you should look at the Tru Spec elite enclosures with the double plus triple flush baffle (if you have a large high powered sub). This box you ordered here has 1x 0.75" baffle plus 1x 0.75" flush baffle. Again, your statement about it being 0.5" is respectfully incorrect. Feel free to message us with any questions.
