    Replace OEM bosch 617262 Bottom support to door handle broke

    Step 1: first remove the plastic lining on the back of the door ( used a putty knife gently pry out to help remove ) step 2: remove the black metal surround that holds the inner glass. you will see (2) small tabs on top (2) small tabs on side and (2) small tabs on the bottom ( use putty knife gently put the tabs down working your way around will remove the black metal surround that holds the inner glass. Step 3: after remove the black metal surround that holds the inner glass. at this time you will easy get the door off of the microwave Finally, you can get at the two screws that hold the handle supports to the outer frame..you know what to do now

    Microwave handle support

    Exact replacement for a Bosch microwave (500 series) handle support. Quality has been good so far. Installed about 2 weeks ago. The color is close to the original. You can't really see much of a difference unless you are looking for it. I am satisfied with the cost and quality.

    Can not install without professional

    Bosch Microwaves can not be serviced by the owner. Especially the door handle! This is ridiculous in my opinion. There is a major flaw in the Bosch units. So many complaints about the door handle breaking. I had to glue my broken one back on. So much for resale with the house! Just terrible.

    Terrible design by Bosch. This part breaks every few months. The replacement parts such as this one are no better. Absolutely terrible design.

    So thin feels as if it's about to break any second.
