In addition to the high-quality output, you can also use the same set of headphones to make calls to friends or family. A simple pinch of the in-cord controls allows you to use your compatible iPhone to call out, answer, and end phone calls. You can also use the in-line remote controls to change the volume levels or control music and video playback. Skip tracks, stop, or rewind quickly and easily. The Earpods are flexible and versatile enough to be used by many electronic accessories, including those that do not come from Apple. The basic media output feature of the Apple EarPods is compatible with all brands of mp3 players, tablets, cell phones, and other accessories that have a 3.5mm jack. The remote and mic to answer phone calls are compatible with all models of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod. Most models of the iPhone and iPod will also support the volume control.
