    Item was as expected. One heads up, if you get the MPPT be aware that the unit may be set to start charging the battery immediately. This resulted in an expected spark. This was the first Victron I ever purchased that the battery charge setting was active out of the box. Used a resistor to charge the unit and disabled the charging until the settings were right. All said, would buy again (and may do so...)

    He drives a hard bargain, but still cheaper than anywhere else for a new product. Shipping time was slower than normal with a few delays, but it was not his fault. He got it off very quickly. I'll get all of my victron components from him. Outstanding products so far..very great product! Thank you.

    Easy to configure using the blue tooth system

    I purchased the Victron Energy Smart MPPT 100/50 for $75 knowing how these units perform. Their MPPT sweep is very fast compared to some lower quality MPPT units out there. One of the biggest reasons why I use VE now is the ability to network multiple controllers to one battery as I set up east, south, and west arrays for winter harvest. Be aware that blue tooth is a MUST for VE smart networking to sync charging and on the fly tweaks such as alarms, voltage changes, etc. Also, be aware that these units are NOT field repairable so be very careful with wiring and capacity limits! One big benefit is that none of the MPPT controllers have a fan to make noise.

    Just installed the controller this morning. Very easy to install. It started up by itself. Within 4hrs both 12volt batteries were fully charged and unit was in float mode. I'll ck in a couple of days but I don't expect to find any problems. Very happy with purchase.

    Great controller w/ a price to match

    Yes, you can get a charge controller for less money. You don’t get the Bluetooth connection and real-time battery update. My RV has a battery monitor. It is no where near as accurate as this one. Take my word, just buy a Victron and call it a day.
