    Great alternative to electronic cymbal pads.

    This cymbal set can be used for practice, as it was designed. However, it can also be used in live applications where low volume is essential. It will not get above highly amplified instruments, but is perfect for backing vocalists with light instrumentation behind them. It has the advantage over electronic cymbals, as the feel and dynamic capabilities are more realistic.

    Nice

    Great cymbal for practice, better alternative to electronic. You still get the same feel, sound and response as a conventional cymbal but at 1/3 of the volume. I am currently using it to work on transitioning from cymbal to fills. makes it easy to hear what I need to focus on without the mess.

    Amust for pratice in a busy home.

    I would recommend these to any one who needs to practice with peace of mind that you are not being over powering to unwanted listeners. The real bonus is that you have real feel with 80% less volume. I truly enjoy this set that I have 13" high hats 14" crash 18" Crash ride 20" ride. Drum on with confidence.

    Great quiet alternative to the real thing

    Feels great. A little thicker than I expected for a splash, hence the 4 stars. I decided to get two of these and use them as second hihats. It works really well that way. I am a happy camper.

    Perfect for practice

    These things are everything I’d hoped they’d be. They are quiet. You can talk in a normal voice and it’s louder than the cymbals. I even put some moon gels on them to deaden the initial attack and it’s perfect. Now I can practice while the kids are in bed and they have no idea.
