    i like it

    I wanted to get one of these before the price went up. Used to be into Boss but I kinda like DOD better now. Some older ones were American made but I can't tell if that makes a difference in pedals, guitars yes. Anyway this one sounds great, tight focused tone good for lead guitar from any style and heavy riffing metal stuff. Can't say if it's good for extreme metal but 80's stuff sounds close enough for me in my bedroom.

    This is a one-of-a-kind pedal that stands alone and what it does it does better than any of the other similar pedals it produces a razor edge

    . This pedal is really phenomenal at producing a certain quality of sound. Combined with other devices it produces another range and character of sound possibilities it is an amazing pedal probably one of the best iconic effects pedals produced in the history of effects pedals. I love this pedal. I wish I had gotten one much sooner. I've been trying it in many different configurations on the pedal board and it excels in every position to alter the sound into something uniquely characteristic of this pedal.

    Nice overdrive/distortion sound

    Gives a nice overdrive/distortion sound. Use it when practicing on amp with low volume to get nice distorted sound without the having to crank the volume or use 2nd channel. Metal body is robust, rubber bottom prevents slippi,g. Foot switch gives a noticeable action compared to earlier Did fx boxes I have
