My only concern was that the shipping box was a reused/resized box with no packing materials around the unit. Also, the remote control was sitting on top of the unit with no padding or spacers, and contacting the box lid. Remarkably, the unit and remote showed no signs of exterior damage and their function seems to be unaffected.
