    20 plus meals later.

    I have delayed my review of this product until it has been put through the paces of multiple types of use. I have baked biscuits with it. Cooked all kinds of meats and stew with it. Put it over a camp fire to make what ya got stew and have even had it fall off the back of a tail gate. The finish of the cooking surface is smooth as glass and after only wiping it down to season it further. I can cook eggs and the octagon shape surprisingly allows ease of flipping with very little butter involved. Bottom line, even though it is a non traditional design it is functional and is heirloom quality for sure.

    Bought a a great pice without a box. It arrived well packed and unmarried as described. The skillet was seasoned and ready to use, which we did. It will be a cherished heirloom and our daughter-in-law is already eyeing it. The skillet is so attractive, we store it openly on top of the stove. Works great.

    Long after you’ve forgotten the price the quality remains.

    Well made well seasoned, my only problem is it is so heavy my wife can’t lift it up with one hand, i’ve only cooked with it a few times but so far it’s been very good. Considerably better than my old Lodge.
