    Gargoyles are scary.

    A great horror movies from the 70s, a time when you were entertained by performances, make up, and scenery. The first time I saw this movie the King gargoyle scared the bejesus out of me. I was about 12 or 13 but he was scary as hell. Cornel Wilde delivers a great performance as always. If you are looking for a jewel of a classic horror film to add to your collection, I highly recommend Gargoyles. It is suspenseful, scary, and yet makes you think in the end. Yes, by today's standards people may call it corny but the movie is able to carry itself without the benefit of multimillion dollar special effects. It is a movie about survival of the fittest and mankind may not survive the next encounter as the gargoyles have learned even more about us......Enjoy this treasure from the past. ...

    Not top notch but atmospheirc scary movie to be enjoyed!

    Not top notch acting job but very atmospheric horror movie. The locations are great (Carlsbad Caverns area) and Bernie Casey as the head Gargoyle is top notch. Overall I alway really loved this eeire movie. Grayson Hall, who played in the original Dark Shadows Soap was great as well. Jennifer Salt as the daughter of Cornel Wildes character is beautiful.

    Excellent 70's Horror Movie

    My best review is that when I first saw this movie in the late 70's as a college student it gave me the creeps. It stayed with me until I saw it again many years later on eBay. I had to have it. It's still great!

    Excellent price for an awesome scary classic!!!!!

    I saw this movie on tv way back in the mid seventies. It scared the "blank" out of me. This movie features famous actor Bernie Casey as the "Gargoyle". The make-up for this 70's classic was "state of the art" at the time and with a little imagination still holds one's attention today. Great Sci-fi horror. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
