    Funny

    while some of the humor in this movie may be dated to many younger folks (primarily those who never heard of Jack Lemon, Ricky Nelson or World War II), it’s a good yarn, completely conceivable shot on lovely locations. I say the story in conceivable… and for those who might disagree, read about the bootstrap operations conducted in the Pacific campaigns during the first third of the war in the Pacific.

    Clasic comedy worth watching.

    This is a great comedy classic. Not like todays so called comedies, this film makes you laugh and keeps you wanting more. Jack Lemon, the fumiest straight man ever! That's all I am saying don't want to give a thing away.

    Nothing like these old movies!

    Timeless movie, it just gets funnier the more you watch it! As a former Sailor I love this humor, and the Sarcasm of Lemon is the best. You have to watch his facial expressions to really see how great of an actor he was and to truly appreciate this movie!!
