There was no communication beside what happens automatically (e.g., tracking notices). It would have been nice to get a note in the returned package stating what was done, but regardless, the camera was fixed. It took a little longer than other reviewers led me to expect, but to be fair, most of the time was due to shipping. They could place an order, but rather than informing me that the order would be delayed, they cancelled it and returned it. Additionally, that initially serviced camera had to be serviced again for the same issue. You should be aware that the low price reflects the poor quality of service you receive. In the long run, this repair will not last.
