    A classic design at a good price.

    As a long time enthusiast and collector, I have found the Chinese produced Schrade knives are the equal in fit and finish to the old American made ones. This is most likely because Schrade sold them millions of dollars worth or brand new macinery before they closed down American production. The fit, finish, polish and attention to de tail far surpasses most other Chinese production knives. I don't know about the steel, it's stainless and came sharp enough to slice paper, but for the price, it's worth the money.
