    Great breadmaker for the daily user.

    This is both a review and a comparison. I bake bread at least twice a week. I had a Cook's Essentials bread maker that I wore out. The Oster (made by Sunbeam) appears to be an updated version of the aforementioned. The bread pan and paddle are the same. The Oster is a more user friendly and robust design. The controls are easier to use and the digital display is backlit. The User manual and recipe book are a great plus. It is wire bound, written in plain English and has useful tips for getting started. The only down side is the paddle usually gets embedded in the loaf: and you have to carefully pry it out. Both the exterior case and the bread pan are easy to clean. The paddle and interior of the pan appear to be teflon coated. There are other settings for making dough for pasta, ...

    It is average

    The product is what I expected it to be. One not so great thing is that the paddle comes off of the spindle and stays stuck in the loaf of bread. I have used a different bread maker in the past that was better in that the paddle was securely fastened to the spindle and stayed there when the loaf of bread was emptied out of the pan.

    Loaf collapsed

    My family is really enjoying the delicious bread I've made so far..sometimes the top of the loaf collapses but the taste is still great. Very easy to use.

    Great Features and easy clean up!

    I love the express mode i can have a loaf of bread in a hour, But the standard way my bread seems to fall right at the end when it is just about done unlike the Express setting comes out just like i made it myself in the oven.
