    Good inexpensive upgrade!

    I was unable to get a good Optaplex 755 motherboard. The 780 motherboard fits the 755 tower case with minor modifications. I had to purchase a power supply adapter cord. The board runs excellent and is stable. I also had to upgrade the memory to DDR3. It was no big deal this tech is old but very reliable overall. I also had to run a sense wire for the hard drive fan to properly boot. It was a great deal!

    Non Compatibility with mATX

    My mistake to put order before receiving my answer to question of the mobo case compatibility. It turns out that it is mBTX/BTX compatible, which is hard to find.

    Pretty good deal for the price

    Well packaged. I would have given it a 5 star if I did not have to straighten one of the gold contact on the CPU socket. It was probably slightly bent during disassembly.
