      Seaplane Tender Langley 1/350

      Good kit. Some normal Trumpeter flaws, like deck fit, but not as much and what is there is easier to fix than previous kits. Flight deck supports are solid---recommend after market PE. PE in kit takes care of a lot of other details including railings. Airplanes are not what is shown on box top but are P2Y (shown on side of box). Overall, highly recommended and adaptable for later times for this AV version of Langley.

      Nice model for the builder of 1/350th scale ships

      It is a plastic kit so obviously is somewhat fragile and not a kids snap-together offering. Requires some model building experience. It is a nice representation of an unusual ship, basically one of a kind, which should make the collector of 1/350 scale ships happy. No comments on assembly as I have not put it together yet but I expect to do some modifications and up grades to improve some of the detailing, especially with the flight deck support girders.
