    A Good Lens, Don't Expect Miracles

    Pros: The build quality is pretty decent, and the rings turn evenly and with a solid feel The image is pretty darn sharp, especially as you move down from f2.8 - but the bokeh is nice at f2.8 It's relatively light weight (meaning, not heavy) for a lens with these specs, and balances nicely on a 5D body The zoom lock is a nice touch at this price point Cons: A lot of plastic Corners are not perfect There are no miracles here, but at this price point it's a good solid lens to have in your kit, especially for full frame in environments where you wouldn't want to be taking your L lens out at five times the cost.

    Slow autofocus, but good for value

    For the price, it's a pretty nifty lens. It works great in good lighting, but poor in minimal lighting. Other than that, it's a splendid lens!
