My item was large and ceramic, and this was packed better than the Tiffany bowl someone sent us for our wedding. Each piece was wrapped in foam and boxed separately--then those 2 boxes were in a larger shipping box secured tightly with packing materials to prevent shifting. Thank you, kelly4761 for treating this funky little cookie jar as though it was a priceless piece of art.
