        Wall brackets for Bose 201

        The brackets are nicely finished but they don't fit a Bose 201 unless you want to see the brackets on the wall. Once installed according to the clear instructions you have about a 1/2" reveal of the bracket behind the speaker. Who wants to see the bracket? They need to have a notch cut into the half that fastens to the speaker so that they can be moved down to accommodate the speaker connection terminals.

        Better than shelves

        Bought for a pair of 301 speakers that previously sat on small shelves. Had to leave the shelves behind when we sold the house. Now these bracket both sides of our stereo system in our new house and sound just as great as before.

        Not meant for older version 301s but.....

        These are very well designed and extremely sturdy brackets. And while they are made for the newer style 301 cabinets, they can work on the older ones: The backs of the newer 301s are flush with the sides, whereas the backs on the older 301s are inset about 3/8" or so. To make these brackets work on the older style, just fasten a shim to the back of the speaker that is thick enough to be flush with the sides, then screw the brackets to the shim. Pretty simple and a very clean-looking install. Worked great for me.
