    Premium clock radio — worth the premium

    Overall rating for the RCR-3: 5 (out of 5) stars. Details / comments: I've read some complaints about the "Atomic Clock" timekeeping feature. All I can say is "location, location, location". I also own an older Sangean RCR-22 ("older": *not* the RCR-22 II). The RCR-22 includes a physically separate external antenna for the time signal. It works well even with a marginal signal marked by occasional signal drop-outs. In the same location, the RCR-3 failed to obtain an adequate time signal. In a different location (where I'm using the RCR-3), the RCR-3 briskly acquired a time signal and set itself up. The RCR-3's FM and AM performance are excellent, somewhat better than the RCR-22. Setting the RCR-3's alarm isn't (for me) intuitive, but neither is it difficult. My only quibbles: some ...

    Nice, Accurate Clock

    Nice Ana/Digi Alarm Clock. The Only Thing That I did Not Care for is the Brightness of both the Analog and Digital Displays. There is a Dimmer Switch, but even with the Dimmer on, it still Projects a Strong Light; great as a night light-just do not face the Clocks Directly Facing You. All in All, a Very Well Made Alarm Clock.
