    Heavy duty scope rings.

    Great “Heavy and High” rings. Not recommended for a lightweight mountain type rifle, but for precision and long range shooting, these are solid, well made rings.

    Nice rings, but.....

    First of all I will say these are nothing fancy, but seemingly good rings. I used the for a couple of months before swapping scopes. When I torqued them with the new scope, I messed up and torqued them to 30 in/lb instead of 25 and broke the base clamp. This was my fault, but I was surprised that 5 in/lbs too much would break a steel clamp. I can't deduct stars for my stupidity.

    Quality

    I tried a couple of cheap rings first. Sent them back. Scope adjustment way to one side. Poor finish. Soft aluminum. The Warne rings are steel. I centered the scope adjustments and mounted it. Surprise Suprise! When bore sighting it was almost perfect. Yes, they aren't cheap. You get what you pay for.
