    item took much much longer than what was expected. Also packing a 90 pound item should have been done with much more care. they used a weak home depot box( the orange one) instead of the heavier stock blue type. Face plate came bent on three corners and board inside the unit were dislodged and back plate was also deformed and damaged. I sent pictures to seller and got no response . I was able to eventualy fix the damage but still disappointed with the care taken to ship this Fluke 740

    BUYER WAS NOT charged for packing this item. Buyer declined to buy additional insurance or additional packaging material. Buyer declined pursuing a claim for damage with the trucking company standard claim for damages. Under US rules, ownership passes to the consignee when trucker accepts the shipment. At that point, any claim for damage MUST be made by the consignee ONLY. Buyer failed to note any damages on the shipment Bill of Lading which is normally required. Allstates has over 600 positive.
