      I heart this...

      I purchased this item to use while bicycling daily for fitness. I wanted to know when I was going into the heart rate "red zone" while riding instead of just guessing. I thought about purchasing a new cycle computer with heart rate and other fancy features, but they are really expensive and most of the applications I probably would not use, so I chose to go the cheaper route. To mount this watch to my bicycle, I just used a section of a foam pool noodle from the dollar store (another cheap item). The foam section is about the size of a human wrist and its soft with plenty of flexibility, and it sits pretty securely on my handlebars. It actually looks like the more expensive fancy heart monitors sold online for hundreds of dollars. Anyway, Polar makes a very accurate and reliable product ...

      Helps A Lot

      My cardiologist wants me exercise daily and push myself a little. This thing helps me monitor my target heart rate during cardio workouts so I know how far to go and when to back off. The display has large numbers for those of us who need it. I don't even wear my glasses to read them. It's accurate and easy to operate for us technologically-challenged old guys. I recommend this affordable monitor for seniors. I don't really trust the accuracy of heart monitors that measure your pulse at the wrist. This thing has a sensor that is worn on your chest near the heart itself. It transmits to the wrist unit wirelessly and is held in place by a comfortable black strap that goes around your back. Don't wear a thin white shirt guys or people behind you might think you're wearing a black bra.

      I was looking for an inexpensive, simple heart monitor to use while exercising. It is easy to use and keeps track of target heart rate, ave heart rate and length in the target zone. One button does everything. Great value.
