Product Information

The Microsoft Controller for the Xbox One is the culmination of three generations of Microsoft console gaming. The manipulation of your online avatars is made easy by the two diagonally positioned analog sticks and the four Y,X,B, and A buttons that are all pressure sensitive for more responsive gaming. The underneath of the unit houses a dedicated Microsoft headset jack, and the two function buttons in the middle respectively handle moving back during in-game menus and pausing the action when you need a break. As with most modern controllers, there is a digital controller that some might find more responsive for genres such as fighting or even platforming. For those who enjoy PC gaming, this is also a great peripheral as Microsoft included functionality for computers as well. This fully wireless controller requires AA batteries for power, but since there is a micro USB connector, powering it directly using a USB is also an option.

      Great

      It looks like it was packaged after a gaming session (sweat or grease stain), but a quick microfiber cloth+cleaning solution had it looking almost brand new. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to shave off some cash from a new Xbox One controller ($40 for brand new was the cheapest I saw for November 2017).

      XB1 refurbished controller - gets the job done

      Packaging was sub-par and damaged when arrived, but the controller appeared to be okay. Functionally, it works with the exception of the d-pad - the pad sensitivity is horrible - either doesn't respond at all, or rapid-fires the command multiple times on one click. Overall though, I'm just using the game for a handful of games. Don't need a d-pad for rocket league besides chat. And for the price, you can't do better than this for a refurbished genuine controller. I know refurbs are typically hit-or-miss, but that being said, I would buy again.

      Garbage controller

      The controller arrived and it was apparent that it had gone through extensive use. When I put the batteries on and tried using it, the “rb” and “lb” are jammed and very difficult to use and small scratches all around. All that for practically the same price as a brand new one from the store...

      Great controller so far! Been using it for a week and a half.

      NOTE: This review makes lots of comparisons between this controller, the original Xbox one controller, and the Xbox 360 controller. Also the model number of the reviewed controller is 4N6-00001. Not much to say about this one. The 360 controller was already quite good, and the Xbox one S controller improves on its design a bit. However I do NOT recommend treating it like a 360 controller, since every part of the Xbox one S controller feels more delicate and flimsy than its predecessor. Even its USB cord is thinner than the 360's. Read on if interested. ***Good bits*** Cable length is the same as the 360's. The d-pad is less mushy and more click-y. The Xbox 360 controller d-pad is pure mush. Bumpers and triggers are closer together; this makes it easier to use both in fast paced gaming ...
