    Great quality, easy fix.

    If you are a cheap b*****d like me, you want to get as much use as possible out of something for which you spent a considerable amount of money. My camera protective lens broke, and scratched the camera lens below. I was able to easily replace the camera with this part and instructions on ifixit. It is OEM, and the quality is identical to the original camera. I am handy, but would not consider myself especially technical. If you can program a VCR (or whatever the current similarly technical criteria would be,) you can fix this.

    Packaging Snaful?

    The product was fine I suppose until it was packaged in an envelope with not padding or bubble rap. By the time it reached me the delicate connectors had been smashed/bent. When I opened the sealed package and I went to install it several of the connectors simply fell off.

    Does not focus close shots

    Picture quality is mediocre at best, however it will not focus on anything up close. Definitely not a quality replacement. Very disappointed.
