    The old keyboard had 4 keys that quit working. This keyboard fixed the problem. It was a new direct replacement for my wife's Pavilion 15. It was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. Installation instructions can be found on YouTube. It's straight forward but work carefully. My only complaint is not with the product or the Seller. It arrived 5 days after the original expected arrival date and 2 days after the first updated arrival date. I thought the $14 price was great.

    Keyboard that saved my laptop!!

    My dog knocked a glass of tea onto my laptop's keyboard. I thought it was ruined because the keys stuck and nothing worked. So I ordered this keyboard with frame just to see if I could save the money of a new HP Touchscreen Laptop. My hubby goggled directions on You Tube and replaced the entire thing in 10 minutes. I works like a new computer. Great value. Plus it is no longer dusty - just a bonus.

    Not the same as the factory keyboard

    I bought this keyboard to replace the one on my laptop because keys were sticking and I had enough. My first impression of this keyboard was that the plastic surrounding the keys is a shiny black whereas the one from the factory is a matte black. So aesthetic wise it’s not the same. I also noticed the white labeling for the keys was rushed and looked very bad, but again this was just an aesthetic issue. Moving on to the actual installation was easy. The plug is different from the factory keyboard and looked cheaply made. You have to insert it correctly and if it’s off by a little bit then the keyboard won’t work correctly or the keys map to others. The factory keyboard did not have this issue. Once I installed it and made sure the keys mapped correctly I opened up a text editor to try out ...

    this isn't a replaceable part

    In order to change the keyboard I would need to destroy the face plate which isn't the problem. Only the keyboard doesn't work, the touch pad worked with the face plate having no damage at all. Now I need to buy the replacement face plate just to replace the new key board. I'm sure once get that I will be required to order a new touch pad board to put on the new face plate with the new keyboard. This keyboard should have come on the face plate, since this is advertised as an OEM replacement, otherwise there is no way to install it without damaging other working components.
